Our Master Plan coming to Life

We are excited to share our new learning spaces that are beautiful and functional with students and families in 2023. Our welcoming, inclusive community provides the ideal setting for young people to grow and flourish.

Our school is a vibrant and inclusive community working in close partnership with families

Welcome to St Bernadette's School, a Catholic Parish Primary School in St Marys which was founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1952.

Our school offers students from Reception to Year 6 a quality Catholic education based on the core Dominican values of Respect, Truth, Love, Justice and Hope.

We are currently finalising a new strategic plan which will align with the implementation of Catholic Education SA’s Living Learning Leading Framework.  At the very heart of this plan will be our students, who we will help to be ‘thriving people, capable learners and leaders for the world God desires’.

Our community values a love for learning and the personal growth of each individual. It is a place where all students are involved in quality teaching and learning programs which provide opportunities for each child to be the best possible version of themselves. Staff recognise, value, and celebrate the unique talents and differences of each child, and plan creative and inclusive programs which meet the needs of the children.

The journey of choosing the right school community for your child[ren] is an exciting yet daunting adventure and one that requires time for exploring, questioning and reflecting.

We invite you to contact us for an enrolment tour so that you can experience our Dominican learning culture and gain an understanding of what it means to belong to our vibrant and engaging community.

I look forward to meeting you.
