One thing I love about teaching Technologies at St Bernadette’s is that I am able to work across every class in the school and develop and build relationships with all of our students. This has been a great way for me to integrate myself within the school community.
Over the past few weeks students have been engaged in completing the “Pulse Check In”. The “Pulse Check In” is a simple survey designed by Catholic Education and its purpose is to assess students’ wellbeing and engagement, providing teachers with meaningful data to monitor student wellbeing.
SACPSSA Lacrosse Carnival
On Friday 17th June, the Year 3-6s participated in the SACPSSA Lacrosse Carnival. It was held at Barratt Reserve, West Beach. Our school was represented by a total of 10 teams across the Year 3-4 and 5-6 levels.
At OSHC the children have been doing wonders! A couple weeks ago we learnt about the environment, and how we can help protect the Earth. We brainstormed some ideas together, then the children created “Protect the Earth” posters.
Last week at OSHC the children learnt about Reconciliation Week. The theme was "Be Brave. Make Change." Reconciliation Week was a time for all Australians to learn about the shared histories, cultures, and achievements.
The students in Year 1/2 Moser have been sharing a variety of different prayer experiences this term. When you have a relationship with someone, you want to spend time with them.
Over the last 2 weeks, we have gathered twice as a school community for whole school masses in St Bernadette’s Church. The first mass, with the theme of Reconciliation Week, was led by the Year 5/6 class who did a fantastic job.

Dear Parents/Caregivers,
The classroom refurbishment is tracking close to the program timeline. The main GLA (classrooms) building is still expected to be completed in the first week of July, so classes can move in from the beginning of Term 3.
